Dog Days of August Walk in the Woods

Bring your furry four-legged friend for our Dog Days of August Walk in the Woods.  We're planning on a nice easy hike along the C&O Canal Towpath.  Almost all of the towpath is shaded, so this will be a perfect place to spend a hot August morning. 

After our walk, we'll have a picnic lunch in Shepherdstown and then wander around  in search of ice cream.  Among its many charms, Shepherdstown also has a wonderful bookstore and a delicious bakery.

This free event is open to members and non-members of Women Outdoors Mid-Atlantic.  Non-members are invited to join us on two events before we ask you to join Women Outdoors.
