NY's Finger Lakes Region


The Finger Lakes Region is world-famous for its spectacular glacier-formed waterfalls and gorges, its vineyards along scenic back roads, and its 13 lakes, including Lake Cayuga. Our area is perfect for hiking, biking, and all forms of paddling, plus fabulous birding, including the Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge. We are nearby Rochester, Syracuse and Ithaca.

That means our volunteer leaders can choose to lead the types of outdoor activities they love the most, whether it’s hiking or biking, kayaking or canoeing, caving or climbing – you name it.
