Kayaking on Jug Bay and Patuxent River
Summertime and the paddling is easy.
Registration is closed
We'll explore
Jug Bay
, one of the most important fresh water estuaries in the Chesapeake Bay region. After our gentle paddle, we'll enjoy a picnic lunch back on shore.
BYOB (bring your own boat) or you can rent a kayak or canoe for $6/hour for residents or $9/hour for non-residents. Everyone must wear a PFD.
Be sure and call ahead and reserve a kayak - 301-627-6074.
This free event is open to members and non-members of Women Outdoors Mid-Atlantic. Non-members are invited to join us on two events to see what you think. The third time's a charm - we'll ask you to join Women Outdoors at that point. You can join now by clicking on

.
Registration is limited to 15 and closes on Thursday, Sept. 4 (whichever comes first). Please include a telephone number in case of last minute changes or if we need to cancel because of the weather.
