Winter’s short days can make it hard to get outside after work. Rail trails typically have a wide, flat footpath, making for easy walking with a flashlight. I’ve walked this section of the Lehigh Valley trail in the daylight, now I’m ready to try it with my headlamp – would you like to join me? We’ll walk down the trail for 30 minutes then turn around and return to our cars. The pace will be modest, who knows what we’ll see, but we’ll be outdoors which makes for a happy evening!
Dress for the weather (windproof pants and jacket, gloves, head covering, and a scarf or mask for your face are well advised depending on the weather) and bring a headlamp and/or flashlight. Make sure to RSVP so that I can contact you if anything changes.
