Cancelled due to extreme cold!
Please join me cross country skiing at Whetstone Gulf State Park. The park is built in and around a three mile long gorge cut into the eastern edge of the Tug Hill Plateau. We will not be skiing there. It is rather a steep incline and this gal is not yet in shape for such an adventure. We will instead ski around the groomed, flat trails around the campground at the base of the gorge and if we still feel energetic we can cross the creek and ski the fitness trails which were not groomed when I was there last but not difficult to maneuver.
What to bring: skis, poles, lots of warm clothes (if you are like me), water, snacks, enthusiasm, and anything else you think you might need
