Snowshoe (when condition are acceptable) or hike Beaver Lake Nature Center
Located just 15 minutes northwest of Syracuse, New York, in Baldwinsville, Beaver Lake Nature Center offers 9 miles of trails. Beaver Lake features winding trails that are designed to be enjoyed in all seasons. All the trails are well marked and flat for the most part. There is a $4 admission per vehicle which is paid when leaving the park.
What to bring: snowshoes, lots of warm clothes, water, snacks and a camera. You might just see something interesting.
