We're hiking the Wolf Rock/Chimney Rock loop at Catoctin Mountain Park in Thurmont, Maryland, for our Hiking Rocks! hike. On clear days there are some great views from the rocks.
This 5-mile loop hike is hilly and moderately difficult with a little bit of rock scrambling. The trail is narrow in spots and Wolf Rock can be slippery when wet, so be sure and wear good sturdy hiking boots and bring hiking poles if you have them. This is free event is open to members and non-members of Women Outdoors Mid-Atlantic. Non-members are invited to attend two events to see what you think.
