Tour the gardens at the private home of Sandy and Pat in Waterloo. You will walk amongst perennial beds, rock garden, and extensive herb garden. Pat will offer a brief presentation about the types and varieties of herbs and their many uses. At around 2:30 pm we’ll gather under the walnut trees for our planning meeting.
After the meeting we’ll fire up the grill for an early dinner featuring a weenie roast and grilled veggies. Hopefully we’ll be able to spot some Great Blue Herons flying overhead and we have a new short walking trail on the property that I hope you will enjoy.
Bring a side dish to pass and optionally something else to grill if you don’t want hot dogs.
Also Bring: Your trip ideas, calendar, and appetite. Optional: camera, Frisbee, a friend!
Recommended: an insect repellent that works on ticks
Address and Directions: will be sent when you RSVP
