We will meet at the small parking lot across from Long Branch Park, just before the bridge that crosses over the Seneca River inlet. The closest address is 395 Long Branch Rd, Liverpool, NY
We will walk along the west shore trail for a short distance, and then veer off to Lakeland trail where we will hopefully spot some early spring growth or geo caches. This trail is mainly stone dust so it could be wet and muddy. Please wear appropriate foot wear and outer wear. The forecast for the weekend is 30’s with morning snow showers. I estimate that we will walk 2-3 miles.
After the walk for those interested, we will drive to the main park entrance and grab a bite to eat at the White Water Pub, (110 South Willow St, Liverpool, NY 13088), a moderately priced, cozy and fun place.
Directions from NYS Thruway (I90): Exit 39 to I-690E to Exit 4. Turn Right at the 1st traffic light onto Long Branch Rd. The parking lot will be on your right before bridge.
