Linda has invited us to her home for our spring planning meeting. We’ll start out with our Planning Meeting, and then break for a hearty lunch (dish-to-pass) around 12:30 pm. You may bring something that needs to be kept warm.
After the meeting and lunch, we can head out for a hike around the property. Linda lives on 16 acres, more than half of which is woods surrounding a one-acre pond. The hike would be around the pond and through the woods. There are no real "trails," but we can walk through the woods with little difficulty. There are several ridges and "valleys" and a very small creek flowing through one.
Bring a side dish to pass, your trip ideas, calendar, and appetite. Optional: camera, hiking poles, a friend! Don’t forget to dress for the weather and wear hiking boots or trail shoes.
Directions: North Rose is near Rt. 104, south of Sodus Bay and Lake Ontario, and between Rochester and Syracuse. The exact address and directions will be sent when you RSVP.
This free event is open to members and non-members of Women Outdoors. Non-members are invited to join us on two events to see what you think. The third time's a charm - we'll ask you to join Women Outdoors at that point. You can join now by clicking on Join Us.
