President’s Day Weekend – Winter Getaway to Maine

Get away from all your normal day stresses and relax in the winter wilds of the Maine woods on this holiday weekend! We have a full agenda of fun stuff that will help you to chill out (in a warm way) and get back in touch with nature! We’ll be staying at the eco friendly and rustic Nuture through Nature (NTN) center in Denmark, Maine, a beautiful and rugged slice of 33 acres of Maine wilderness! Owner Jen Deraspe has worked very diligently in creating an environmentally friendly place for women to connect with their inner space and with nature! · 2 nights stay in NTN’s eco cabins heated by wood stoves
· Guided snowshoe excursion in the Maine woods by a certified guide
· 1 private group sauna steam bath (1 hour)
· 1 private group yoga session (1.5 hour)
· Use of NTN’s meeting house for dinners, games, dances, library and general socializing
Other possible activities for the weekend include cross-country skiing, snow tubing, a sleigh ride, and ice-skating. The cost of meals is not included in the price. We’ll create scrumptious group dinners in NTN’s meetinghouse. Carpooling from the Boston area will be arranged.
