New Year’s Day Snowshoe in the White Mountains
Leader: boston@womenoutdoors.org
Celebrate the start of the new year with a snowshoe hike to East Pond/Little East Pond in the White Mountains, near Lincoln, NH. The hike will be 7-10 miles (depending on snow conditions) out and back. Participants should be comfortable hiking in winter weather on snowshoes for several hours, the trail is gentle to moderately steep (no
extreme scrambling). Ski or hiking poles (with snow baskets) recommended. This will be a moderately paced adventure, suitable for anyone who enjoys winter hiking.
Carpooling is encouraged. Contact trip leader for more details.
