Tuckahoe State Park Hike

Let's get out of town! Women Outdoors Mid-Atlantic is heading to Maryland's beautiful Eastern Shore for a winter hike at Tuckahoe State Park.

Tuckahoe Creek, named for the arrow arum also called "tuckahoe," runs through the heart of this park. The wooded wetlands have defined this land for centuries and offer a glimpse back in time.

Our ~5 mile  hike will be mostly flat along Tuckahoe Creek and around the edges of Adkins Arboretum. Please do not bring your dog on this hike in case we're lucky enough to spot some interesting waterfowl.
