This will be the third year that Women Outdoors is doing this event. So, please join us for breakfast at 10:00 am, then we’ll gear up for snowshoeing (or a hike if not enough snow). The cost of breakfast will vary from $3 to $5. If you do not wish to have breakfast there are plenty of other things to do and see inside or just come later. I estimate that we’ll start snowshoeing around 11:00 am.
Located just 15 minutes northwest of Syracuse, New York, in Baldwinsville, Beaver Lake Nature Center offers 9 miles of trails. Beaver Lake features winding trails that are designed to be enjoyed in all seasons. All the trails are well marked and flat for the most part. Note: There is a $4 admission per vehicle which is paid when leaving the park.
Bring: snowshoes, poles, lots of warm clothes, water, snacks. Optional: camera (sometimes the snow on the trees is just beautiful).
Address: 8477 East Mud Lake Road, Baldwinsville, NY
