Tour of Oakwood Cemetery with actors and actresses portraying a few of the founding families of the Syracuse area. Oakwood has very interesting monuments and statues. You MUST sign up quickly at: www.cnyhistory.org/ghostwalk. There is a charge that benefits the Onondaga Historical Society: $15 Non members, $12 if you are a member of OHA. These walks happen rain or shine. I bring an umbrella- if rain is possible and bug spray. The ground is a bit uneven so sturdy shoes or sneakers are a must. It lasts about an hour. If you have never been back in the old part of Oakwood Cemetery it’s quite unusual and very interesting.
YOU MUST BUY YOUR OWN TICKETS - DO IT NOW!!
Be sure to select the 6 pm tour on June 23 if you want to tour with us.
Address: 940 Comstock Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13210
