Our spring wildflower hikes are a beloved tradition with Women Outdoors Mid-Atlantic. Even though we've had a chilly spring, we are in great hopes of seeing many spring wildflowers at Prince William Forest Park, one of Northern Virginia's best kept secrets.

We'll trek through the woods and along a stream in search of Virginia bluebells and other spring wildflowers. We'll hike about six miles through the gentle hills of the park and find a spot along the way for a picnic lunch. Sorry, no doggies on this hike.

This free event is open to members and non-members of Women Outdoors Mid-Atlantic. Non-members are invited to join us on two events before we'll ask you to join Women Outdoors. You can also join now by clicking on this Join Us link.

Prince William Forest Park usually charges an entrance fee of $7 per vehicle, but Saturday, April 21 is a National Parks Fee Free Day because it is the start of National Park Week.

Registration closes Thursday, April 19. Please include a telephone number in case we need to let you know about last minute changes or if we need to cancel because of the weather.

Thanks.
