Join us as we hike to Buzzard Rock in the George Washington National Forest, not far from Front Royal, Virginia.
It’s a 4-mile out-and-back hike with spectacular views of the valleys below. You’ll definitely need sturdy hiking shoes – the trail toward the top is rocky - as well as hiking poles, if you have them. Bring water, trail snacks and lunch. Sorry, no doggies on this hike.

We’ll start promptly at 9:30 a.m. because the parking lot sometimes fills up. Plan on arriving early! Expect at least a 90-minute drive from the DC area.
