Kayaking on Jug Bay and Patuxent River
Summertime and the paddling is easy.
Registration is closed
We'll explore
Jug Bay
, one of the most important fresh water estuaries in the Chesapeake Bay region. After our gentle paddle, we'll enjoy a picnic lunch back on shore.
BYOB (bring your own boat) or you can rent a kayak or canoe for $6/hour. We've reserved 10 kayaks for Women Outdoors Mid-Atlantic.
Because the number of kayaks available to rent is limited, we have to limit the number of registrants. If you have your own kayak, please note that on the registration form, and then we can open up registration to more women.
Everyone must wear a PFD.
This free event is open to members and non-members of Women Outdoors Mid-Atlantic. Non-members are invited to join us on two events before we ask you to join Women Outdoors. You can join now by clicking on

Registration closes on Thursday, July 14. Please include a home and cell number in case of last minute changes.
