Join women Outdoors for a visit with wolves in Smyrna, NY about an hour from Syracuse. There is a $5 admission charge to get in, payable at the center. They are open from noon until 4pm.

There are grey wolves, arctic foxes and eastern coyotes. An hour tour starts at 12:30pm with a guide and then we can wander more about the 64 acre site if we want. Plan no more than 5 miles hiking and probably some rolling hills.

Bring water, bug spray and snacks. If there has been rain, foot wear for mud and even an umbrella/rain jacket if showers are expected that day. If the weather is a downpour all day, I will reschedule. Please check out their website:

Please respect the trip leader and update your RSVP if you sign-up but then are unable to attend. Please also RSVP early, especially if there are only a few signed up. Events may be cancelled due to lack of attendance, as well as changes in weather or other circumstances. If you must cancel at the last minute, call or text the event host/trip leader (see your registration confirmation for contact details) and let her know who it is who is calling/texting. Be sure to copy down the address, directions, and trip leader contact information to bring with you as there might not be good cell service at the event location.
