“Ask the Author” with Cheryl Suchors

COMING TO YOU ON ZOOM

You can ask Cheryl anything about her award-winning book, 48 PEAKS, Hiking and Healing in the White Mountains—about the mountains, hiking, cancer and treatment, losses, victories, friendships, family, writing, characters, process. Ever read a really good book and wished you could ask the author why, who, when, what, where? Why did you end it the way you did? Well, now’s your chance. No subject off limits! We’re giving you plenty of notice so you have time to read this rich and moving book.

As the Spring hiking season draws near, it’s the perfect time for this exciting and unique discussion with Cheryl, a member of Women Outdoors who lives in Cambridge, Mass. Our own Andrea Fox, of the Western Massachusetts WO group, will facilitate the evening. We encourage you to read Cheryl's beautiful book, an inspiring story of adventure and persistence, but it is not required. To help make this an interactive and lively event, please come with questions for Cheryl—and with a sentence or passage you enjoyed, to share with the group. If you have a section you’d like to hear the author read in her own voice, just ask. Note: this will not be a lecture, but a conversation with a lot of give-and-take.

Note: Zoom Meeting Details will be sent with your confirmation email, and for those already register, will arrive later via a separate email.

Before Class:

Want to read the book before the event? You can get it at Amazon - e-book or paperback (this direct link will generate a donation from Amazon to Women International).

Another option is Indiebound, which takes people to their local bookstore (paperback only)
