"Spring has sprung, the grass is riz. I wonder where them flowers is?"
Well, we're going to look for them on our spring wildflower hike at Little Bennett Regional Park in Clarksburg, MD. With the incredibly early spring we've had so far, who knows what we'll find, but we'll have fun looking. Mayapples, jack-in-the-pulpits, spring beauties, wild ginger and asters are some of the varieties spotted along the trails.
We'll hike about six miles through the gentle hills of the park and find a spot along the way for a picnic lunch. Feel free to bring your doggie friends on this hike.
