Potluck and Movie Night

We had a very successful movie night last winter when we showed two short environmental documentaries and enjoyed some pizza and socializing.  We'd like to do it again this winter, but this time we're making it a potluck dinner.

We're going to show a documentary about Rachel Carson, author of Silent Spring, the groundbreaking book that launched an environmental movement.  Rachel Carson, a federal employee, lived in Silver Spring, Maryland, and we like to think that she would have been a member of Women Outdoors Mid-Atlantic had we been around in the 1950s and 60s.
