Eastern Shore Bike Ride

UPDATE: We've moved the venue for this bike ride. We were originally going to ride through Georgetown and up Rock Creek Park to Bethesda, but the DC marathon is the same day and along part of the same route. We loved this Eastern Shore bike ride a couple of years ago and think you'll love it, too.

Woods, wildlife and water - it's all here in this bike ride in Queen Anne's County on the Eastern Shore. The locals love this ride with its quiet roads, water views, fields and forests. And this being the Eastern Shore, it's mostly flat.

We'll start next to the Centreville Landing on the Corsica River and ride about 20 miles through the back roads of Queen Anne's County. We'll take a break about halfway through the ride at the end of Lands' End Road and enjoy a lovely view of the Chester River. If it's warm enough, we'll have a picnic lunch by the Corsica River after the ride.
