RCs Building Community - The Women Outdoors Regional Contact Retreat

The Board of Directors of Women Outdoors is hosting the WO Regional Contact retreat, RCs Building Community, at Camp Bonnie Brae in East Otis, MA, on March 28-30, 2014. 

Located in the Berkshire Mountains, Camp Bonnie Brae's Leadership Lodge offers a lovely venue for our retreat and the camp's beautiful surroundings will allow us some great outdoor time as well.

Most members of the board will also be attending the retreat, so we will have plenty of opportunities to share ideas and enthusiasm for Women Outdoors at both the national and regional level.

In addition to regional contacts, the board very much encourages any Women Outdoors member who is sincerely interested in becoming an RC or starting a new regional chapter to attend the retreat as well.

Lodging and meals will be provided free of charge to all attendees by Women Outdoors National. Current RCs will receive a travel stipend; prospective RCs will need to pay their own travel expenses.

The RC retreat will be a working weekend with some play as well. We’ll begin on Friday evening with dinner and some team building exercises. Saturday will be a combination of large and small group meetings, brainstorming, idea sharing, and some outdoor fun thrown in for good measure. We’ll wrap up on Sunday morning.
