Join us for a leisurely bike ride along the Sligo Creek bike path from Takoma Park, MD to Brookside Gardens in Wheaton, MD. This will be a mostly flat, out-and-back bike ride of about eight miles each direction. As an added bonus, most of the trail is shaded.
We'll lock our bikes and walk around Brookside Gardens for a little while to see what's in bloom. Bring water and lunch and we'll find a spot to eat at Wheaton Regional Park (picnicking isn't allowed at Brookside Gardens).
Riders must have a bike helmet and wear closed-toe shoes on this ride.
