Celebrate spring one day early with a 20 mile bike ride through Washington, DC and Bethesda, MD.
We'll start our ride on the Capital Crescent Trail at Fletcher's Boat House in DC, wind our way through Rock Creek Park, head across to Bethesda, and then back down the Capital Crescent to Fletcher's. Most of the ride is flat but there are some moderate hills in Rock Creek Park.
Depending on the weather, we can make this excursion a picnic or pizza ride. If it's cold, we can stop at Ledo Pizza in Bethesda (mile 16) and warm up with lunch. But if it's a beautiful day, we can finish our ride and have a picnic on the banks of the Potomac at Fletcher's Boat House.
