Mid-winter Movie Night and Potluck

We love our mid-winter movie night here at Women Outdoors Mid-Atlantic. This year we're showing Women Outward Bound, a documentary about the first group of young women to participate in the Outward Bound program.

Here's some info on the film: "It's 1965 and 24 teenage girls are about to have an experience that will change their lives forever. Who were these girls and what did they do? With stunning aerial video, today's interviews and footage taken at the time, Women Outward Bound is a documentary about those girls, what happened to them, and how 30 days in the wilderness taught them they could do more than they ever thought possible."

We'll have a potluck dinner before showing the movie. Please bring a dish to share and whatever you'd like to drink. Also, if you have a low camping or beach chair, please bring it along so we can all fit in the room and everyone can have a seat.
